March 3 Class Critique

Regarding the in-class critiques on March 3rd, The Fed team feels collectively that we could have presented better than we did. In fact, our presentation was unprofessional and gave the perception that we are disorganized and disconnected. The two different storyboards presented might as well have been for different projects because one would never assume that they were for one project. We did not have "the look" for our animation ready nor icons to show the class. Extra time was needed to get the actual storyboard .mov file ready to show the class.  I was personally appalled  by our showing. As project manager, it falls on me for the miscommunications during the previous week, the lack of product and the presentation that fell apart. This was not our intent for this important day.

Today, we talked over our crit and regrouped. I will be posting our updated schedule shortly. We know that we have much work before us. Our expectations are as high as they were when we started this project. We are dedicated to providing a polished and solid piece for our client on behalf of ourselves and the University.

Rescheduled Call with Federal Reserve

Our phone call this week had been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb 17th at 11 a.m. We should have 4 out of 5 audio tapes by that point. We won't get the fifth until the end of the month so we'll have to get moving on what we have. I'll be posting a schedule shortly of what needs to happen and when.
Thanks!

Skype call on Thursday

Hey guys,
We are having a Skype call with Todd on Thursday at 11 am. Because we also have presentations, this may just turn into a one on one phone call. Please let me know any concerns you have regarding what we need from Todd so that we can address them at that point. I would like to have solid graphics this week so we can start storyboarding right away. I also forwarded another script from Todd to your BGSU email account.
Thanks!

Animation Reference

Hey guys, I received some content from Todd for the Fed animation which i forwarded to you both. If you get time, look through the contents and let me know your thoughts. We can talk about it on Thurs/Fri.
Thankfully, Todd included the timing so we can keep in mind how much animation we really need or need to cut out.
Hope you guys are enjoying the snow!!

Welcome to The Fed blog!

Hey guys,
This is our new blog site. Our first work together consisted of researching different types of fonts and graphic styles for our animation for The Cleveland Federal Reserve. Todd has written back with another idea since our meeting with him which i will share with you on Thursday.

Feel free to keep posting any resources for ideas that we could use for our project.
